B ecome an Amateur Radio Operator Today*. This is a great chance to get into a hobby that is also used on a daily basis to help protect and save lives. This class is offered for free¹ to anyone that would like to learn more about Amatuer Radio and work towards obtaining their Technician License. Classes are currently scheduled for Tuesday nights starting at 7:00pm and running till 9:00pm. We currently hold classes at Legacy High School in Kaufman, located at 601 S. Washington Street at the corner of St. Ann.If you come to our class, please consider brining someone with you. Currently, we can handle between 15 and 20 students, but can relocated to accomadate even more. This is a great opportunity for you, your family and friends. What you need to bring? Be sure to bring a pen a some paper with you. You might invest in a single subject spiral notepad. This is great for taking notes, website links and more. We do try to provide some information on hand-outs, but you will actaully learn more from what we show you during the Power Point presentations that we have. |
