No and Yes. Kaufman County ARES is working on setting up it's own operational repeater on the 2 meter band. We have been officially issued a frequency coordination and are currently raising money and trying to get out repeater operational. Currently, we do have access to 2 repeaters in the county, one belonging to the Trinity Valley Amateur Radio Club (147.280) and the other belongs to the Ceder Creek Amateur Radio Club (146.900), both of these are very good repeaters, but they do not fully meet the needs of Kaufman County ARES.

So, do to that fact, it was decided to obtain our own repeater system and get it online.
