We would like to welcome TheVestGuy.com as a Fall Cabooodle Fest sponsor. TheVestGuy.com is a maker of custom safety and industry vest for over 17 years. Whether you are a crossing guard or a member of your local EMS/Fire department, they have all types of vests that will meet your unique needs.
We are excited to say that TheVestGuy.com has donated one of these custom vest to us for presenation during the Kaufman Fall Cabooodle Fest. The vest that has been donated is one of the basic ARES® vest that they have created. This vest, pictured below, will be very similar to the official Kaufman County ARES vests that we are seeking to obtain.
The final vest version that we will be seeking with have additional lettering on the patches and will have a few other options, like a back pocket and more that we feel will be highly usable during an emergency response. Robert, TheVestGuy, spent over 15 years in law enforcement and has used that experience in creating a product that fits the needs of those in similar jobs.

Though you can purchase safety vest from many different vendors, it is very hard to located one that does custom designs, beyond just letter on the vest. We spent a lot of time online looking for a vest that we felt suited the needs of our ARES® members. The need for pockets and radio carriers made vests from TheVestGuy.com a logical choice.
Once you have visited their site and you decide that you wish to place an order, you will learn that no job is too small or too large for them to handle. Robert will help you every step of the way in designing your vest to meet your needs, inlcude such details as reflectiveness, water bladders (removeable canteens/camel packs), pockets, pouches, patches (on velcro backing to allow for changing patches if needed.) and more.
So if you are a volunteer for the Red Cross, a member of a local search and rescue team, a CERT team mebers, amateur radio operator or just about anyone else that needs a safety vest, this is well made and designed, you should consider TheVestGuy.com for your next order. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for, so go for a better product in the beginning and you will not regret it. If you do order or inquire about products from them, tell them southern we sent you to them.
Again, we would like to thank Robert and TheVestGuy.com for their sponsorship and look forward to working with them in the future. If you are interested in helping us obtain vests for our members, please feel free to make a donation to our Vest Purchase Fund using the PayPal link below:
