We are pleased to annouce that we have officially reserved our vendor spaces for the Kaufman Fall Cabooodle.
We are pleased to annouce that we have officially reserved our vendor spaces for the Kaufman Fall Cabooodle.
Each year Kaufman puts on a fall festival on the last weekend of October, which happens to be October 27th and 28th this year. This is one of the larger fall events in the outlying areas. Last year there were over 10,000 visitors to the festival. This festival has a lot of things that you would expect to see at an event such as this, like a car show, baking contest, a street dance, parade and more.
Thanks to the efforts of several members and to Kaufman County CERT, we have reserved our to spots for the event. One of the booth spots will be used to place the Trinity Valley Amateur Radio Club EmCom Van in and the other will hold a shared booth for both organizations. We are hoping to have several radio stations setup to allow people a chance to get on the air and make a contact or two and we are hoping to have other activities going on.
Our booths will operate on both Saturday and Sunday and will be setup from the start time till close on each day.
