We have requested and received the following for ARRL Club
Liability Insurance. In an effort to protect both our members and the
public, we feel that we need to obtain this insurance. The insurance is provided through an agent called, MARSH Affinity Group Services and has been designed specifically for amateur radio groups that are a part of the ARRL.
 This year, the policy would run us $320.00. We received our official quote on July 8, 2008 and the quote expires on September 8, 2008. So between now and September, we need to try and raise the funds to purchase the policy. We may never have a need for it, but it is always better to be safe than sorry. There are many benefits to having this insurance, including the fact, that some public events will require us to have insurance before they let us take part.
