On Air Nets Print E-mail
Sunday, 05 August 2007
On Air Nets are officially here.  We will be holding our nets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month, following the Trinity Valley Amateur Radio Clubs nets.  Our nets will start between 8:00 and 8:30 PM on those evenings following within about 10 minutes of the end of the TVARC net.

IC706_3.jpg All members and non-members are asked to check in and take part in these nets.  In the beginning, we will be doing mainly check-ins and updates on coming events.  Within the next few months, we will start holding On Air Training and more.

The nets are being held on 145.270MHz PL ton 136.5 MHz.  Our nets will continue to be held on this frequency until our repeater is online and fully operational.

Kaufman County ARES, Inc. would like to thank the members of the Trinity Valley Amateur Radio Club, for allowing us to use their repeater while we continue to prepare for our.  We are pleased that they are willing to allow us access and help us with our efforts.  This is just another example of how the amateur radio community comes together to help each other out.

Learn more about TVARC and learn how you can help with our repeater program.
