Do you have a computer or other non-radio electronic device that you are wanting to dispose of. Well, please consider donating it to our program in support of our community service efforts. Though we will not be able to accept all electronics for donation, we will consider them all. Just use our donation form to submit your information and we will contact you with our decision.

The main items that we are looking for now are computers and computer related items. We have included a list below of some items that we really need. You can be sure that any computer that is donated will be put to proper use and that we will remove all information on the systems before they are placed online.

Using the same software that is used by the military and federal goverment, we sanatize all computers that we receive and we ontain a new copy of the operating system that we will place onto it, unless the original cd that came with the system is included. If for some reason, you do not wish to donated your computer to Kaufman County ARES, but instead wish to donate it to another organization, we will be more than happy to sanatize your system for you, for a donation of $10.00. This will help insure that no information is able to be retrieved from your system.
