We are proud to offer an option to help support our organization by using eBay, the largest online auction community. Working with eBay Giving Works and MissionFish.org, you are now able to help support Kaufman County ARES by using one of the following options:
When asked, why use eBay? We respond, why not! With over 100 million registered users, this is the largest online auction site in the world. eBay has partnered with Missionfish.org to handle its eBay Giving Works program and since 2003, they have handled over $91 million in donations to more than 14000 non-profits. We feel that this is a great opportunity to raise donations for our organization.
Thanks to the help of Community Sellers, people selling and donating a portion of their winnings to us, we are able to raise funds on a 24 hours basis, without more than just listing their auciton on eBay and selecting from 10% to 100% for their portion to be donated to us. Selling auction items under this Community Seller program also gives your listing special eBay icons for free to show people that the auction is being used to help an organization.
Acting as a direct seller, we are now able to take items that are donated to us that we can not use or no longer have a need for and can sell them on eBay and receive 100% of the funds, including all normal eBay fees. What a great way to help others and our group. No longer do we have to throw items away or given them away first, now we can try to sell them on eBay, then do something with them if they don't sell.
