We are always looking for vehicles that we will be able to use during the course of our avtivities. If you have a vehicle that meets the requirements listed below, please feel free to contact us about donating your vehicle directly to us. If your vehicle does not meet our listed requirements, you can still donate it and have it auctioned off, which will provide us with much needed money to help with our efforts.
Kaufman County ARES, Inc. reserves the right to accept or decline the direct donation of any vehicle, without the need for any reason. We will only be able to accept the vehicles that we feel will meet our current and future needs. Any other vehicle will be referred to our vehicle donation programs, click here for that information.
Your vehicle donation is 100% Tax Deductible*, up to the maximum allowable by law. Since this vehicle is being donated for our use, you will receive a higher donation value, than you would by sending it to our auction.
All vehicles are usually kept for no less than 2 years. If for some reason your vehicle is sold before the 2 year period is up, we will send you a copy of IRS Form 1098-C or an equivalent type of document**.
