Community Sellers Direct Sellers Community Sellers Community Sellers are people that use eBay and have chosen to have a portion of the winning bid donated to Kaufman County ARES, Inc. They have agreed to donate anywhere from 10% to 100% of the final bid to our organization to help support our activities. Are you looking to buy something or want to just browse, then consider visiting our eBay Giving Works page. By using this link, you will be viewing items that are being sold on behalf of Kaufman County ARES, Inc. If you find an item that you would like, please bid on or purchase the item and the portion that is being donated will be sent to us.  eBay is considered the largest flea-market, garage sale and auction online. It has millions of users and even more auctions going on each and every day. You can search for records, computers, amateur radio equipment. You can even search for land, vehicles and lots more. Do you know someone that uses eBay to selling items or run a business, then please feel free to send this our link, http://ebay.kaufman-ares.org and ask them to consider helping our organization by donating a portion of auctions that they have online. No need to do this for all their auctions, they can do just a few. The more people buy under our organizations program or the more that people sell under our program, the more funds we can raise to help those that we help on a daily basis. Amateur Radio Equipment: If you have old amateur radio equipment that you would like to get rid of, please consider either using eBay and being a Community Seller to sell them and help support our organization or please send the equipment to us and we will either use them or sell them. Direct Sellers If you buy an item that has been placed on eBay by Kaufman County ARES, Inc., you are making a purchase from a Direct Seller. Being a Direct Seller means that we have our own eBay account, userid KC-ARES, and have linked it directly to our MissionFish.org account. By having this Direct Seller's account, we are able to utilize the powers of eBay to sell items that we may not be able to use or no longer have a use for. Say a person donates a pallet of copy paper to us and we will not be able to ulitize this donation, we can then take it a place it for sale on eBay. A big bonus for being a Direct Seller is that eBay donates back all standard fee's for setting up the auction. So that our organization will receive 100% of the total amount bid on the auction. Also, since this is going through a Direct Seller account, there are no fees paid to MissionFish.org, meaning that we receive every last penny from the auction. Direct selling is a great opportunity to help us raise money. If you have an item that you think might sell on eBay, but don't have an interest or time to sell the item and you live close to Kaufman County ARES, please consider donating it to us and letting us place it on eBay. If you do not live near use, but are willing to ship the items to us, we will be glad to take them and place them up for auction. You may be able to write-off the shipping charges as part of your donation. |
